Venari O&H are delighted to announce the launch of a year long fundraising campaign to raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA). YAA have been chosen as the sponsored “charity of the year” in collaboration with YAA with staff hosting and arranging a range of fundraising events with the charity throughout the year. As one of the largest ambulance builders in the country, Venari O&H are inspired by the heroic work YAA do to save lives on a day to day basis and couldn’t think of a more worthy cause for to campaign for.
For the new campaign to raise money for YAA, Venari O&H have begun by hosting a raffle with prizes including easter eggs, Prosecco, Whiskey, a mini car valet etc. which was a huge success raising £200 for YAA. In conjunction with this, also offered a mini car valet for £10 to staff which was done by the valeting team in their own time which involved a jet wash and a wipe down for both the internal and external of the vehicle. This was also a success and raised £320 meaning the fundraising total so far is already £520 for YAA (and counting!).
This isn’t the first time Venari O&H have worked with YAA, last year it arranged for staff to take part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge which was a resounding success. There are many more ideas in the works to help bolster funds including open days and sponsored activities that are currently in the planning process.
